At 18.5 mm deep when folded, the Slotbox can meet the 20mm depth requirements of 'OTHER' (Non-Standard and Oversize) letter mail, but you are responsible to meet the length, width, weight and content requirements set out by Canada Post. All styles of the Slotboxes must be mailed in a standard paper envelope to qualify as regular post for Canada Post.

But Canada Post says ' Customers may experience some delays'.They are liars and frauds. Media is silent. This needs to be a national news story and Canada Post needs to say 'Customers may experience 2-3 week delays'.
When sending within Canada, if the item you are mailing an item not made of paper - ie: a necklace - it is considered 'Other (Non-standard/Oversize)' since it is not paper. It still qualifies as regular post (instead of the expensive parcel rate) but the box must be sent in a basic envelope and will be subject to a postage rate based on weight. 'Other' (Non-standard/Oversize) regular postal rates range from $1.94 - $5.47 based on weight up to 500g. Over 500g and it must be sent as a parcel.
